Notice regarding the v.2.0 update (1) Added preview function to Windows Explorer and Open Window
<Windows Explorer - Preview>
① File – Open - *UTTU, *ubk
- You can view the selected file in the preview in Open Pattern.
(Note: Preview is only available for files saved in v2.0.)
(2) Added a feature to register and use grading-applied patterns
<Register/Apply Rule Library>
① Grading Mode – Register Rule Library – Select Pattern and Right-click – Apply
- Select the pattern to register and right-click the mouse; the location of each grading point will appear as a number.
- The grading data is applied sequentially according to the order (number) of these numbers. <<<__TRANS_SPLIT__>>> - When registering a rule library, if the size differs from the size currently being worked on (current window is size 5, registration is size 4), a notification pop-up window will appear.
- If the size systems differ, modify the pattern's grading information and save it.
② Grading Mode – Apply Rule Library – Check library list and select pattern – Select option (Pattern/Point) and then select Pattern (Point)
- When loading a library, if it does not match the size list currently being worked on, a confirmation pop-up window will appear.
- By default, the number of grading points must match for the library's data values to be accurately applied to the pattern. <<<__TRANS_SPLIT__>>> - Even if the number of points differs, the location of each point in the library is automatically applied to match the corresponding point on the pattern.
- If you select the 'Point' option, you can selectively apply the grading values of specific points stored in the library only to the desired point(s).
(3) Added a feature to create arc-shaped curves between lines
<Rounded Corners>
① Draw – Rounded Corners – Select Line – Select Another Line – Enter Radius Value and Apply
- The endpoint (indicated in red) of the selected straight line/curve becomes the reference point.
- The direction of the reference points must be the same.
- Create rounded corners by entering the radius value.
(4) Added a function to fold the pattern based on two points on the outline or unfold the pattern based on a straight line on the outline.
<Folding Pattern>
① Pattern – Fold – Select two points on the outline – Select continuous line to fold
- You can select the outline based on the two selected points.
- The selected outline is folded inward.
② Pattern – Fold – Option: Remove Inner Line – Select Baseline to Unfold – Select Continuous Line to Unfold
- Unfolds the folded line (Option: Remove Inner Line) by deleting the inner line.
- Unfolds the folded line (Option: Keep Inner Line) while keeping the inner line.
(5) Added feature to take multiple photos using a webcam and create patterns (Available for Pro or higher)
<Ditto Auto>
① Special Features – Ditto Auto – Settings – Camera Settings
- Ditto Before running Auto, select the shooting camera in Settings.
- Capture the Dittoboard and the pattern using the Photo button.
(You can conveniently take continuous shots with the configured device.)
- Press the Apply button to automatically load only the pattern onto the screen.
- You can continuously capture and load patterns.
(6) Allows length/distance measurement data to be displayed as text and perform arithmetic operations
<Length/Distance>
① Draw – Length – Select Line(s) – Right-click
- The length values of the selected line(s) are displayed on the canvas.
② Length/Distance - ‘+’ – Select Measurement Value 1 and 2 respectively – Right-click – Display Length Value
- Clicking the values marked on the floor for ‘+’ or ‘-’ displays the calculated values.
- Clicking ‘*’ or ‘/’ displays multiplication/division values for individual numbers, such as ×2 (or /2), ×3 (or /3), etc.
- Pressing delete while selected deletes all measurement values.
(7) Modifying Pattern Information
① Drawing - Select (Filter: Pattern) – Select Pattern
- When a pattern is selected, it is displayed in the Pattern Information window.
- When a pattern is selected in the Pattern Information window, a dotted line appears around the selected pattern.
- You can select multiple patterns within the Pattern Information window and move their positions using Shift. <<<__TRANS_SPLIT__>>> - You can immediately modify the name by simply entering text after selecting a pattern.
- After modifying the name, pressing Enter allows you to immediately change the names in the list at the bottom consecutively.
(8) Added a feature to rotate the pattern to seq center/default alignment.
<Seq Center Alignment>
① Pattern – Seq Center Alignment (Option: Center Alignment)
- When seq center aligning, the seq is displayed in the center of the pattern.
② Pattern – Center Sequence Alignment (Option: Default Alignment)
- The arrow direction of the sequence displayed in the pattern is upward (default direction).
- When centering a pattern with a downward sequence (option: default alignment), the top and bottom of the pattern are reversed according to the sequence's default direction, and the sequence is displayed in the center.
(9) Improved ability to move a certain length using arrow keys
<Arrow Keyboard>
① Select – Point (Line) – Select Point - Move Right with Arrow Key – Move by the value entered in the grid
- After selecting a point/line/pattern, you can move it by the set length using the arrow keys.
- The set length can be changed numerically in the grid filter.
(10) Added new symbol types and improved the ability to apply set values.
<Symbol>
① Drawing - Symbol – Wavy Line/Zigzag
- You can apply the width for wavy lines and zigzags.
② Drawing - Symbol – Button/Buttonhole
- The position of buttons/buttonholes has been changed to the left.
- You can select and apply the shape of the button.
③ Drawing – Symbols - Diagonal Stitch
- Diagonal Stitch (Leather Stitch) has been added to the Symbols menu.
- When a center line is included, the diagonal stitch is displayed along with the center line.
(11) Enhanced to activate the previously used tool when pressing the Space Bar
<Space Bar>
① Rectangle – Modify – Space bar
- Executes the previous step's task when the Space bar is pressed
(12) Shortcut keys changed from a single key press to two
- Shortcut keys are now entered using two keys.
- When a single digit is entered, it is displayed at the bottom; when two digits are entered, it is executed.
- A window has been added to check applied shortcut keys.
